dc.description.abstract |
Research is described as "creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge". It is used to establish or confirm facts, solve problems, support theorems, or develop new theories. Research projects can also be an expansion of past work and can be used to develop a student's research skills. Original research is defined as work that is not exclusively based on a summary, review, or synthesis of previous publications. Its purpose is to produce new knowledge rather than presenting existing knowledge in a new form. |
