dc.description.abstract A comprehensive assessment of the literature on digital health interventions in South Africa is presented in this article, with an emphasis on how new technologies are changing the way healthcare is provided. It talks about the three primary areas of digital health; wearable technology, telemedicine, and augmented or virtual reality, and how they contribute to effective and individualized medical care. The review emphasizes how telemedicine helped with remote consultations, record digitization, and patient safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also highlights the use of immersive technologies for customized therapies and the promise of wearable technology for health monitoring. The results imply that advancements in digital health have the potential to greatly enhance patient outcomes and progress South Africa's healthcare customisation. en_US
