Abstract:
|
This article examines the challenges faced by international institutions when employees communicate in different languages. It introduces language as a complex system of human communication and highlights how its origins and functions have been debated by philosophers and linguists throughout history. Thinkers such as Rousseau, Kant, Wittgenstein, Saussure, and Chomsky are discussed for their views on the emotional, rational, and structural aspects of language. The article further considers how multilingual contexts can complicate communication and why understanding language remains central to both philosophy and linguistics. |
