Abstract: Honey is a sweet, viscous food substance made by honey bees through regurgitation, enzymatic activity, and water evaporation. Stored in wax honeycombs, it serves as a long-term food supply to support the metabolism and activity of the bee colony. This article discusses bee foraging behaviors, hive dynamics, and the commercial and domestic production of honey.
