Abstract:
|
Honey is a sweet, viscous food substance produced by honey bees from floral nectar or insect secretions through regurgitation, enzymatic activity, and evaporation. Bees store honey in wax honeycombs. The most well-known variety comes from Apis bees due to its global commercial production and human consumption. Honey is harvested from wild colonies or domesticated hives, a practice called beekeeping. |
