Honey is a sweet, viscous food substance made by honey bees and some related insects. The article discusses honey production by bees, including how bees collect nectar and honeydew, process it through enzymatic activity and water evaporation, and store it in honeycombs. It also describes the role of honey as a food source for bees and explains the structure and activities of bee colonies. |
