Abstract: Language is a system used for complex human communication. The scientific study of language is called linguistics, which examines the nature, development, acquisition, and use of language. The article discusses different perspectives on language, including its origins, meanings, and relationship to communication, as well as the distinction between language as a general concept and specific linguistic systems such as French.
