Abstract: This article provides an overview of digital health, which includes digital care programmes and technologies that use health, healthcare, living and social applications to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery and make medicine more personalised and precise. The discipline uses information and communication technologies to facilitate understanding of health problems and challenges faced by people receiving medical treatment and to support more personalised healthcare.
