Abstract:

Honey is a sweet, viscous substance produced by bees and related insects, made from floral nectar or insect secretions through regurgitation, enzymatic breakdown, and evaporation, then stored in honeycombs. The Apis (honey bee) variety is the most commercially significant and widely consumed worldwide, harvested either from wild colonies or through beekeeping. |
